I have a space battle tactic that I learned from someone on Reddit that I wanna share, divide your fleet into 3 prongs like a pitchfork with your larger warships as the center prong and your lighter faster ships as the left and right prongs then rapidly force the enemy fleet to split in two down the center prong and into the gaps in between the left and right prongs of the pitchfork and then unleash broadsides from both sides of the center and left and right prongs of the pitchfork.

Just finished it now. Did the insane difficulty stopped well.. being insane later down the campaign? I didn't enjoy it at all. After I finished the level I realized there was a better strategy but the insane rushing enemy almost force you to keep forward
